To User:Usagiop: it was User:Prime.mover who suggested to User:Robkahn131 that he upload this "Failed Proof" - see User talk:Robkahn131/Sandbox. So it is him you should be asking. --Anghel (talk) 00:16, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

No hard feelings either way, but my thought was/is - a HUGE part of math is failure. Just like thousands of other amateur mathematicians, I took a stab at this conjecture and failed. Even though this line of reasoning doesn't achieve its intended aim, sharing it seems to have more value than not sharing. I'd be willing to bet (at least) thousands have pursued this line of reasoning and hit the same dead-end. --Robkahn131 (talk) 00:31, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
OK, but it isn't interesting for me at all. --Usagiop (talk) 01:42, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Okay, you stick with the things you find interesting, and the rest of us will carry on having fun messing around on the beach looking at brightly-coloured pebbles. --prime mover (talk) 06:25, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
