$N$ does not satisfy (N3) (Triangle Inequality), e.g.

$\map N {1 + 1} = \map N 2 = 2^2 = 4 > 2 = 1 + 1 = 1^2 + 1^2 = \map N 1 + \map N 1$

Good call. I'll return to this in due course this evening. Cheers --prime mover (talk) 07:27, 4 April 2019 (EDT)
Salvaging what I can -- splitting up into two, just demonstrating Positive Definite and Multiplicative. --prime mover (talk) 15:52, 4 April 2019 (EDT)
