Various questions

I was about to type out the proof for Neumann series theorem when I noticed this page. I have not taken it apart yet, but I expect it essentially to be the proof I found elsewhere. Ideally, I would like to adjust it minimally by adding a few extra steps here and there. I have not read about bounded linear operators (maybe you could provide a reference for this), but I wonder if they are equivalent to continuous linear transformations (the boundedness here comes from Continuity of Linear Transformation between Normed Vector Spaces). If they are really the same, then we should do something about notation, convention etc.--Julius (talk) 09:40, 9 May 2023 (UTC)

I think I pointed this out a while ago. Bounded linear transformations are equivalent to continuous linear transformations on normed vector spaces but not in general topological vector spaces. "Bounded" seems the standard term hence notation like $\map B H$. Caliburn (talk) 09:57, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
Ok, so this result is safe, but in general there will be differences. I will see what I can do.--Julius (talk) 10:14, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
There's virtually nothing here on topological vector spaces except the stuff I've written, and I don't think I will have confused the two. Do check though. Caliburn (talk) 14:09, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
