Talk:Newton-Girard Formulas
Wolfram has a page [[1]] wth title Newton-Girard Formulas.
What is posted there bears no similarity to the proofwiki theorem.
What should be called Newton-Girard formulas? The original ones of Newton or a particular variant?

Naming conventions: I wanted name Newton's Identities (historical references: 1959 and 1992) but was unable to create the main page because it was redirected from Newton-Girard Formulas. |Is the havoc on the proof pages caused by Newton's Identities redirect to Newton-Girard Formulas? --Gbgustafson (talk) 14:35, 13 December 2019 (EST)
