Needs to be cleaned up I know. Does it help the reader to have the table there? 1 down 688 to go. --Jshflynn 20:34, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Table is fine, but I have made all columns right-justified to make it neater.
One point I will make (although I try not to dictate instructions, I try to "lead by example") is that the technique of using:
(Some statement), which is proved [[Some Long Theorem Name which Defines What is Being Proved|here]]
is not recommended, as it makes it less easy to follow the thread of a proof without actually either editing the page (to see what the name of the link actually is) or requires that the link is actually clicked on, which interrupts the thread of the proof.
Instead, use the technique:
From [[Some Long Theorem Name which Defines What is Being Proved]], (Some statement).
or whatever makes
It is also recommended that the theorem name can stand as is, rather than wasting effort by:
From [[Some Long Theorem Name which Defines What is Being Proved|this theorem with a long name that defines a proof being used]], (Some statement).
This all makes maintenance simpler for a start.
Definitions don't fall into this category: they are generally presented as something like:
By definition of "[[Definition:Some Object|some object]] ...

In the proof, it is said that all the subgroups except $Q$ and $\{1\}$ have order $2$ but the subgroup $\langle -1\rangle$ is not of this kind. It has order $2$ and index $4$. It is normal because it is the center of the group $Q$.--Dan232 23:48, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
