Talk:Reciprocal of 83 has Prime Period

I removed the comment that this is;

"the smallest prime number to have a prime period greater than $13$"

because I can't see how this is possibly significant.

Indeed, why not mention that $53$ is "the smallest prime number to have a prime period greater than $5$"? There are periods $2$, $3$, $5$ and $13$ which are all prime. Is having a prime period significant enough even to mention? --prime mover (talk) 22:27, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

In fact, 83 is the smallest safe prime which has a prime period, equivalently, 83 is the smallest safe prime with 10 a quadratic residue. --Richard47 (talk) 22:32, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
It takes only a moment's reflection to grasp the fact that scattering nuggets of information like this on a talk page is not the optimal way of developing pages on $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$. --prime mover (talk) 07:29, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
It is also puzzling why the above factoid is considered notable enough even to mention. --prime mover (talk) 07:30, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
