Complete change of page?

This was originally a page discussing a "Boolean algebra". How sure are we that what is being talked about here is the same object that was raised by DFeuer back in 2012?

It's questionable practice to just change the statement of the result and its name as well, to turn it into a completely different result, without discussing it first in the Talk page.

On the other hand the page name change seems to have been me. Don't know what I was doing there. I know nothing about this area.
