The integers:
- $2 \, 003 \, 663 \, 613 \times 2^{195 \, 000} \pm 1$
are twin primes.
Historical Note
According to Ian Stewart in his Taming the Infinite of $2008$, the numbers:
- $2 \, 003 \, 663 \, 613 \times 2^{195 \, 000} \pm 1$
were the largest pair of twin primes known at the date of writing.
They were discovered in $2007$ by Eric Vautier, Patrick McKibbon and Dmitri Gribenko.
