LaTeX and all that
The best way to learn $\LaTeX$ is:
- a) Study lots of source code and work out what sequence of characters produces which effects
- b) Download one of the many source works off the internet and study it
- c) Try it out for yourself as you go.
Note that the version as used on this site does not require all the complicated and tedious document management functionality - all you need is the stuff which manipulates mathematics.
To that end, you might want to go to the MathJax website and study their documentation, as this is the jargon of $\LaTeX$ used on this site.
Also, check out the house style (links above) which contain some useful hints and tips, and point you in the direction we would like you to go. --prime mover 17:01, 31 December 2011 (CST)

I am here again.
After a long breakup, due to health issues (including memory loss) and other weird life-circumstances, I am here again, browsing this long-forgotten (for me) website. I can't wait to complete soon what I promised more than a decade ago.
