Coplanar means in the same plane.
Coplanar Points
Four or more points which belong to the same plane are coplanar.
Coplanar Lines
Two (or more) lines are coplanar if and only if there exists a plane $P$ such that all the lines lie in $P$.
In this context, these lines may be understood as encompassing straight lines and plane curves.
