What is the objection, anyway? It needs more results, you need that the Fourier transform of a Schwartz function is Schwartz, then do some work to show that the Fourier transform defined this way is a tempered distribution. But there's nothing wrong with this definition. I will happily put distributions on the top of my to-do list if needed. Caliburn (talk) 19:38, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
