Talk:Logarithmic Approximation of Error Term of Stirling's Formula for Gamma Function

This was extracted out from Approximation to Stirling's Formula for Gamma Function for reference. I would guess the domain is the same as that theorem but I haven't seriously looked at special functions for a while. Binmore was cited for this but apparently this does not appear in the text. Yep, I believe you may have been the one to extract it. It wasn't cited in Binmore because it does not exist in Binmore. --prime mover (talk) 14:47, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
Yes, the domain must be something like:
$D_\epsilon = \set {z \in \C : \cmod {\Arg z} < \pi - \epsilon,\ \cmod z > 1}$
We need a better source. --Usagiop (talk) 15:35, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
