Talk:Seminorm Maps Zero Vector to Zero

I don't usually distinguish the scalar 0 from the vector 0, I understand that's sloppy on a page like this so thanks for picking it up. I assume subfield of $\C$ because that's all the generality I need, people are always welcome to extend to normed division ring or etc. Caliburn (talk) 17:59, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

I've generalised to normed division ring now. Caliburn (talk) 18:35, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Also that proof looks fine to me replacing "field" with "division ring". In particular commutativity is never appealed to. (and wouldn't matter because everything commutes with 0) Caliburn (talk) 18:41, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

I replaced as suggested in the cited page.--Usagiop (talk) 19:18, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
