Welcome

Welcome to ProofWiki! Since you're new, you may want to check out the general help page. It's the best first stop to see how things are done (next to reading proofs, of course!). Please feel free to contribute to whichever area of mathematics interests you, either by adding new proofs, or fixing up existing ones. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, or post your question on the questions page.

Here are some useful pages to help get you started:

  • Community Portal - To see what needs to be done, and keep up to date with the community.
  • Recent Changes - To keep up with what's new, and what's being added.
  • Check out our house style if you are keen on contributing.
  • Main Page talk - This is where most of the main discussions regarding the direction of the site take place. If you have any ideas, please share them!

Correction

I think there is one missing $x$ in the formula.--Mathematician Proofer 16:32, 7 June 2011 (CDT)

a) This is in relation to Definition:Boubaker Polynomials;
b) This was my mistake not Integer's;
c) Best if you comment on possible mistakes in the relevant page rather than in the talk space of one of the contributors.
No worries though - thank you for your contribution. --prime mover 16:48, 7 June 2011 (CDT)

Polynomals (!)

Good catch. Thx. Fixed now. --prime mover 17:33, 10 June 2011 (CDT)

Links to Also See pages

There is no need to provide a list of links to all the topics in a given category under an "also see" section. That is not how this site works. There is already a category which contains all these results.

The "Also see" section is for links to immediately relevant or related results which either help to round out the understanding of the page or help to link together a collection of mutually complementary results.

I have amended the various Boubaker Polynomials pages so as to reflect our design philosophy. --prime mover 02:30, 18 June 2011 (CDT)

Also, please respect the subtleties of source code layout.

can you help there ?

Hi!

Please can you correct there [1] (if necessary)?--Integer 18:58, 21 June 2011 (CDT)
Hi. I'm sorry, I haven't ever heard of Boubaker polynomials, I don't think I am the right person to proofread the page. --Pedro Angelo 19:08, 21 June 2011 (CDT)
Same here. I'd just leave it with the question, someone who has the background will deal with it eventually. And FYI in the future, put requests to have a page checked should be put on that pages talk page or on the user talk page of whoever wrote the suspect edit. --Alec (talk) 19:28, 21 June 2011 (CDT)
