Example of Almost Perfect Number
- $16$ is an almost perfect number.
Proof
The divisors of $16$, not including $16$ itself are:
- $1, 2, 4, 8$
Thus we have:
- $1 + 2 + 4 + 8 = 15 = 16 - 1$
Hence the result by definition of almost perfect.
